Also - my bff and I are getting matching tattoos in a couple weeks and this post made me extra excited for it!!

For what it's worth, I thought Nobody Wants This was very overrated. Stand firm on your bedtime! ;) 2024 was the year of the chuck roast for my boyfriend and me in the kitchen. We made Olivia Adriance's viral chuck roast tacos and now it seems every other week we are making something different with a chuck roast! https://oliviaadriance.com/viral-chuck-roast-tacos/ I am completely uncertain what jeans to wear or how to wear them- but I did get the 90s straight leg jeans from Abercrombie and have been amazed by how much less I consciously think about/focus on my body vs when I was wearing skinny jeans. I gave nutrafol 4 months & it definitely thickened mine up & got shine back to it! Currently taking a break because I think it’s making me overly tired—or could that just be the 4 kids & 5am walk up call? Will see 😅

I've been taking Mary Ruth's Multi Vitamin +Hair growth with success, and I only remember to take it about 3x week. Definitely helping me get my thick hair back.

What worked this year was stumbling upon you, Ashlee , C + C and Exhale. Is has felt like I’ve been driving in the rain with no wipers on trying to articulate life and motherhood and creativity and then you all plus a dose of Gods sweet words add some serious windscreen action to all of that.

Definitely giving those protein bites a try because I have also heard everyone shouting the need for protein from the rooftops, but having lived a mostly plant-based life for the last several years, being firm about only reincorporating meat if it’s high quality (but knowing that gets expeeeensive), and also not being able to eat dairy or liking eggs… I’m here for all the protein bites. 😂

But why do I think putting on a show in the evening will somehow redeem my life? I'm with you on this one. ai want to be the adult who gets ready for bed, gets in bed and THEN GOES TO BED. Also, I'm getting my first tattoo soon and I'm so excited!!!

In one of the coffee and crumbs podcasts you mentioned the book “Mrs. Quinn’s rise to fame”

You got me hooked because I love the great British bake off. I haven’t read fiction in a long time and I thoroughly enjoyed that book. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I now am baking sourdough bread, scones, and anything else that sounds enjoyable while my kids are home from school over winter break. I got a blank recipe book for Xmas. So in 2025, I would love to keep using baking as a creative outlet.

You have a great list. Maybe one day I will be brave and try the cold plunge 🥶

I also have better sleep as a goal. I don’t want to stay up late and watch shows. Thank you for your honesty about how that’s a habit/discipline you are still working on… me too!
