I have a different half baked harvest cookbook that makes my gratitude list. I’ll add this one to my amazon wishlist 😂 she has a recipe for spicy pesto vodka sauce (that you can replace the vodka with chicken broth) and it’s one of best pastas I’ve ever tasted!
Thank you for sharing your list of things to be grateful for. I know for myself that I have so much to be grateful for, but it is hard for me to stop long enough to recognize it. I have two speeds, either 110mph or crash and burn to 0mph. I am learning to slow down, take in the moments, feel the gratitude that I know I want to feel and cherish and that I have the choice to see the world with a rosy view rather than with critical eyes. 2023 is a fresh start and I hope I can say by the end of the year that I paid attention more, said thank you more and noticed more of the wonderful things in my life.
Katie, I’m so glad they you are continuing to write despite leaving Instagram. You’re not too young to have achy joints. Not to be dramatic, but I strongly encourage you to get that checked out by a doc. I’m a few years younger than you and I was just diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The fact that it is mostly in your hands is the most concerning. Your immune system may be attacking healthy tissue in your body. This can be very dangerous and affect other organs as well. It’s a scary disease. If you do have it, there are treatments out there. While aging does create more aches and pains and collagen does help with joint pain, there could be an underlying condition.
So good. Feisty and humorous. Made me want to get back on the Peloton so Alex can yell at me, and also look into these Frownies. Which of course I initially thought was a new riff on brownies because of precious photo of your kiddo above eating a cookie. Thanks for the list!
Ah miss you friend! I just use the collagen from Costco. And Sarah, the Frownies are pretty great -- they only really de-wrinkle for a few hours but I'll take a smooth forehead as long as I can get one ;)
This is extra fun to read since I listened to your “Favorite Things” C&C podcast last night. 😆 I’m literally baking some Half Baked Harvest goodies today for T day but really think it’s time to get the cookbook rather than unlocking my phone approximately 35 times to make one recipe…thanks for the great advise, lady. ❤️
I love this list!
Love this so much!
I love this list.

How did we ever survive this life without daily voxer? I don’t even know. I love you, friend. This list makes me want to write my own.
I truly don't even remember LBV (life before Voxer) ;)
Same Ashlee. I’m pretty sure I’m going to write my own this week.

Ha, good luck with Alex :) Thanks for reading, Jenny!
Beautiful! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your fam.
Thank you, friend!
Love your writing Katie! Always makes me smile 🥰
Thank you so much, Kym!
Thankful for your writing! I have also been wondering about the Frownies. Is there a brand of the collegan you like? We need to catch up!

Haha Laurel, that is EXACTLY why I switched to cookbooks. I was so over unlocking my phone (and navigating advertisements) ;)
