Tears streaming down my face right now. Not me, suddenly wondering if I need a dandelion tattoo? Love you. This was one of your best. ❤️

Thank you Katie! Your words about the persistent widow reminded me of my own son. That story is highlighted in his Bible because he will stop everything he is doing to search for lost items. As frustrating as this can be (because he usually decides to do this right at bedtime when my patience is frayed), the delight on his face when he finds that tiny toy part I would have given up on long before is a ministry to me. I am the first to give up when tasks are too tedious, when it’s too much trouble to find that one item, when waiting on the Lord’s timing feels unbearable after another day of silence (or what feels like silence to my human, not-God mind). My son is the last. And when he gets to experience the payoff of his persistence, I am reminded of the joy of steadfastness, of staying in it. Keep staying in it, Katie. I am confident the Lord will continue to bring you joyful moments like the one you wrote about.
